Corporate Cooperatives

ADVANCING THE TRIPLE BOTTOM LINE

Corporate cooperatives represent a new concept that has been designed from the ground up to solve a number of old problems, while simultaneously building a new system that will help to transform the world of business into a more sustainable and beneficial structure that serves the triple bottom line of people, planet and profits.

We use the label "corporate cooperative" to describe a very specific kind of business structure. Its purpose is to aggregate a number of small and medium sized private businesses into one collective public entity (a corporation), in order to provide the individual businesses with the increased health, viability and liquidity that a larger, public organization can achieve. This corporate structure is characterized by a collaborative approach to enterprise management, thus the "cooperatives" label.
